I took a 5-hour trip from Chatham to the Red Sand Towers onboard Jacob Marley. The crew (Richard and David) were very friendly, the boat wasnt crowded and social distancing was easily managed with a one-way system and two open decks. The trip travelled down the river Medway passing dockyards and forts before heading out into the estuary. The captains commentary was the highlight of the trip, pointing out wildlife, islands, forts, ships and explaining the general history of the river. Once we reached the sea forts the boat made a few circles allowing people to take plenty of photos before heading back to Chatham. We also saw the masts of the Montgomery wreck which was very interesting. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who has an interest in history or just wants to explore the river Medway. The length of the trip seemed just right, not too long but not rushed either. (There was also a fully licensed bar selling teas, coffees, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and snacks).

Had a lovely trip today on board Jacob Marley to Red sand towers and Ss Montgomery. Richard was our captain who gave excellent narration throughout. Will definitely book another. Well done and thankyou
Went on the trip to Southend from Medway. It was a very enjoyable experience with friendly, professional staff offering a pleasant journey. It is great value for money and I would definitely recommend!
I had a great trip along the Medway, with my two sons aged 15 and 9. This is a very professional firm and even though it was really thrilling ride, we all felt very safe. The first part is very informative and I learnt a lot about Chatham and seeing it from the river gave whole new prospective. With a very good commentary. But the best was yet to come when the river got wider, the boat was opened up and the carving and fun really started. I would recommend this boat trip to anyone with a sense of fun, and well worth the money. Next time I am in Chatham I will returning. Thank you for a lovey trip
