At the age of 63, I finally decided to chase a long term dream of learning to play the guitar. I was very fortunate to come across Jack as a tutor. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and set me on the right path, within a couple of lessons I was able to start playing recognisable music. Jack has proved to be an excellent and patient tutor, whom I would highly recommend to anyone wanting learn guitar

Jack is just great and I can't rate his lessons highly enough!! He is professional, highly experienced and knowledgeable as well as being a great musician. Although I've been playing for many years, I found myself stuck in a rut. Having explained this to Jack, he immediately set out to remedy this. He has successfully re-ignited my passion for the instrument whilst easing me into new territory which is brilliant. He has a unique teaching style that should suit players at any level and he is easily able to tailor lessons to suit your way of learning. On-line lessons are a great way to learn from the best guitar teachers and I wouldn't hesitate to put Jack in this category. Jack is very friendly, patient and intuitive, the hallmark of all great teachers...

The most patient guitar teacher in the UK...and he has to be! My playing has improved beyond recognition under Jack's guidance. His passion for this instrument is infectious. Highly recommended. Great player...great bloke.

Like many people who grew up in the 90's, surrounded by the sounds of grunge and then Brit-pop, I had always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but after several tries, found it next to impossible. On turning 40, I decided to give it 'one more go' and after a google search, came across Jack. His lessons were an absolute revelation! He made the whole experience not just enjoyable, but made learning the guitar seem so much simpler than every other previous effort. I had absolutely zero guitar ability when I first started, but after a few weeks of lessons, was already learning simple songs and after a few months, could comfortably switch between all the major chords. Jack is a brilliant teacher, patient and knowledgeable and most importantly, keeps you enthused. I would absolutely recommend lessons with Jack to anybody who has ever harboured any kind of dream to be able to play the guitar. Totally awesome!
