Excellent please for family and friends, dates, picnics, or solo visits. Lots of colorful flowers and plants, ponds, magical places, a maze, benches, wild and domestic animals and mini zoo, and a restaurant. Great choice for sunny weekend!

Capel has layouts of different types of gardens, it is always inspiring and calming to see it. The Halloween trail is a hit children all loved it, plus there is a small zoo. So much to see and do here️️

Great place, to visit. Beautiful grounds and gardens. High recommended. Visit in September when the car show is on. Great day out.

Nice place for a day out in good weather. It makes for a lovely day spent in nature with or without family. The ticket prices are quite reasonable and I believe they even do a kind of membership for regular visitors. The park has different areas mapped out on the brochure. The first being the cafe which has a good choice of refreshments. The next area is a relatively small zoo. It doesn't have a lot of animals, but the black cat that roams freely is truly adorable! There is also a small patch of apples trees which make for great photos when in season. Adjoining this is a big experimental garden where you can find different flowers and fruits. There is an array of different types of gardens, with a large lake in the center, a fairy garden, a monument on higher ground and an area with a small Maze, which makes for good variety of things to do. The gift shop has a variety of souvenirs and garden related items.

Such a treasure on our doorstep. Plenty of parking. So much to look at if you love gardens. Capel creatures is a lovely little pets corner/mini farm. Beautiful landscaped gardens and ponds. We love it here. Nice little place to eat on the grounds. My kids love the maze, Totems and the faerie garden.

Lovely here. I haven't been here for about 10 years and it has changed a little. Wasn't sure the children would would like it but they were really happy. There is a small zoo now with a crocodile, lemurs, tiny monkeys, meerkats etc. A fairy wood, a maze, a lake with huge fish. Greenhouses with cacti etc Restaurant serving food to eat outside. Shop with plants. We were there for maybe 3 hours. Had a good time and children loved finding the stamps to collect for a 'gold ' medal on way out.

Capel manor is so worth visiting if you love nature, gardens, flowers, plants and animals. They host free open days for local people in the Summer but a discounted entry was enjoyed by my sister and I and well worth it. We brought our own food with us for an outdoor picnic, but there is a small cafe/restaurant on site that is simple and basic. Children will love visiting the animals on site especially the meerkats which are quite cute and funny to watch.

Really recommend a visit here, the show gardens are brilliant for garden inspiration and the grounds make for great walks. The animal area has interesting animals and very accessible for small children! Great value cafe and restaurant too, plus a gift shop full of reasonably priced gifts, plants and houseplants. Great day out!
