Love this station in the city centre. Large lobby with ample seating and easy access platforms. Not too many stairs if traveling with luggage is always a plus.

A pleasant, clean, spacious station with ticket office & electronuc barriers. Though amenities are closed from restrictions in place. The area of the station is quiet, accessible to city centre & in an open space;with construction of University around it.

Fully accessible large station for a capital station though the facilities are quite limited especially in the foyer area but there is a basic coffee shop and a few seats but not many. Lots of ticket machines. If you're heading west into Wales off platform 3a/3b get down the front of the long platform as Manchester train is usually a 2-4 carriage job. Happens every time, people all stand up near the stairs and then all have to dash up the platform when the train shoots past them for the 2 car stop zone

Covid Guidance clearly visible, Most of staff are friendly although the attitude of some staff and the \Security Staff\ is beyond disgusting

Cardiff to Cwmbran service really poor. Train carriage quality low and seating density far too tight. Never enough carriages (mostly only 2) and totally inadequate for number of passengers squeezed on like sardines daily between 15:50 through 18:20 (avoid if at all possible!). Also suffers from Infrequent outward journey times Cwmbran to Cardiff in the mornings, could really use a 06:50 service! Trains frequently cancelled between 16:00 through 18:00. Transport for Wales start providing a quality service please and listening to the customers! Need to do much much better! Less talk more action and now not over the next 5 years. 1/10.
