Lovely dishes provided from the Jerk Pit, Extremely reasonable (around 9 a dish) has a great meal! Seen here is the lemon chicken skewers and Red Snapper fish, the food is well spiced especially the mango slaw! the cocktails for 7.95 a pair is also a steal. Well worth a visit for some great and well priced food! Only complaint is the music was abruptly load for four guests dining near close, couldn't hold a steady conversation with it.

Something different and worth a visit, great friendly atmosphere and simple but tasty food served in a traditional style - not expensive either and good sized portions. The coconut chicken is especially good if you like a mildly spiced dish
This has been a favourite spot of mine for a long time, and continues to be! Returning to Cardiff I knew I had to have dinner here and I was not disappointed!! The BBQ burger was delicious as ever as were the Sweet Potato Fries!! Plus the cocktails were fabulous, far better than the Turtle Bay chain that has a similar concept. Can’t wait to visit again when next in Cardiff!
Absolutely top drawer food, lovely staff and great music. Socially distanced really well. All in all a lovely meal and experience. Will be back next time I'm in Cardiff.
I visited Irie Shack Cardiff on last week. We waited for our food for 1h30 minutes after I asked staff 3 times. No one bothered to inform us that the food was not ready yet!! We ordered at 8:50PM we received our food in containers with wooden fork an knife at 10:20PM to then eat it in 10 minutes as they were closing at 10:30PM. Music was off and the restaurant was so hot, no air conditioning... I would definitely avoid this place in future because of the bad service, Food was alright though
