Its good to be outdoors but it's fair to say it's a crowded walk which in 2020 is a matter for consideration due to close proximity of panting runners and cyclists. Lovely views of wildlife and the river taff though

The best place to wander around and lose yourself 'when all about you are losing theirs'. You are in the heart of the city, but able to gather thoughts and breathe in fresh crisp air by the Taff. Beautiful.

Pontcanna Fields along with Llandaff Fields and the Castle Grounds are the green lungs of the centre of Cardiff. Almost the size of Central Park in New York, it serves a much, much smaller population, so plenty of room for everybody. Running, cycling, horse riding, taking a dunk in the fiver or just a walk and a coffee at one of the cafes that have popped up recently.
