Just spoke to a guy called Steve on Seethelights customer support. He was absolutely excellent. Took an hour of his time to solve a problem for me when I know his colleagues haven't helped my neighbours who have had the same problem. He is an absolute superstar. Other than that seethelight has been pretty much perfect for the last 3 years. You get worried when you hear about a non main stream brand that you need to use but hands down better than Sky, Virgin, BT etc.
Fast internet for people who understand, joined last month didn't need to buy their equipment as I had a decent switch. Took 3 hours to activate rather than 2 weeks from my last provided. Low ping and jitter that is more important than speed to me but still getting 130mbits down and 30 up.
I had SeeTheLight for a few months, after moving into my new home. At first, I didn't notice any issues. My internet speeds were great. However, about a month in I realised that I was experiencing random dropouts in download speed. Long story short, the customer service team tried their best to help me resolve the issue, which I am very grateful for. That being said, their technical 'experts' were not helpful at all. They kept trying to blame my equipment, even though we tried two new routers and a new ZTE box, plus several people in Heyford Park have the same issues as me.. Yet, my new provider has helped me prove there IS actually a fault with OFNL's signals coming into Heyford Park. SeeTheLight refused to believe this... My new provider has experienced these issues with previous customers and they got OFNL to sort the issues. Don't hold your breath on SeeTheLight doing this! My advice is to stay away from them if you live in Heyford Park.
