I dropped my new to me Mini Cooper S off to the guys at SWSS for a health check. The guys were brilliant. The check highlighted quite a few issues that needed resolving. Not only did they call to talk through the issues, they also text me with my own URL that contained pictures of the findings, as well as a breakdown in costs. A really fantastic idea. At no point was I pressured in to any work being undertaken, or was any work undertaken without my permission. They were also understanding that I wanted to undertake some work myself to manage costs. A special mention should go to Dan, who maintained excellent communication and kept me updated with the progress of the works on my car. Upon collection, Dan took me in to an office and talked in depth about the work that had been done, along with photographs etc. This was a really nice touch. The premises itself is very welcoming and professional, and all the staff are friendly; techs saying hello etc as they pass through. This isn't some fly by night nissan hut business that will disappear the following week, which is reassuring. However, their labour rates are extremely reasonable. All in, I would recommend SWSS to any Mini, BMW or Saab owner or any car owner in general. It is patently obvious these guys are enthusiasts with genuine interest, knowledge and experience concerning the cars they work on.

You cant fault the guys/girls at SWSS MINI, their work is outstanding, every time my car goes in for work, it comes out smiling. Gareth & dan are great guys.
Been to the guys on two occasions. First time I went for a checkup and inspection and found I needed a new timing chain that I was half expecting. They done their upmost and got it done on the day to save me returning the next day and having more time off work. The more recent visit was for a decoke. As its quite a lengthy process I dropped the MINI off the day before and had a loan car which worked out brilliantly. An inspection was again done and I was sent over a link to a Web page where they listed everything they found and a video of the mechanic inspecting the underside of the car, brilliant idea. The decoke was great and a noticeable improvement was made to the running of the engine. Both visits Dan has been excellent and can not do enough for his customers. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the guys and wouldn't go anywhere else when it comes to MINI specific repairs.
Great independent to send your Mini or BMW to. I've long advocated using independent specialists to service our cars. They seem to me to take more care, and are more knowledgeable than the main franchised dealers. That combined with better prices makes it a no brainer to go there.
Excellent service all round. Very friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will definitely use again.
