Had a very relaxing day. You only need to bring your costume you are given towels and a robe. Shampoo conditioner and shower gel are all provide for. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The pool temperature was comfortable, and the sauna was big enough to hold up to 10 people comfortably. Lunch was divine only negative I have to say is the milk had gone off. They did change it when i had pointed it out.

My friend and I booked a spa package; afternoon tea plus 2x 25 minute treatments for 75. Our treatments were back to back so a total of 50 minutes each. They called me in for my massage 15 minutes late, apologising, saying another client decided to have another treatment and so the person who was going to do my massage was now busy. So another lady stepped in. I didn't mind this but then my 2 treatments ended after just 35 minutes as they did not account for the 15 minutes I was sat waiting. For a 5* hotel where I'm paying a lot to have a massage, I expected better than this. I should not have to have 15 minutes treatment time deducted due to their own error.

I have been there twice this week to use the water hydro facilities to relax. I don't mind paying the 25-35 but reception staff are not helpful and rude. When I arrived on my second visit I enquired about membershipo and prices I was asked if I would like details of the membership pack immediately or after and I said after. When I left there was a different staff at reception and when I asked her for membership pack details she was rather rude and said that obviously the other staff did not leave anything and that she had to find it for me. Is it the customer's fault that the first staff did not hand over to the second staff? I get the lady at reception was busy but she should have handled this more professionaly especially being in hospitality. The 2 times I have been reception where not friendly nor helpful. It's hit & miss, depends on who is at reception. It's a 5 star hotel spa the service should be consistent regardless of staff. I wanted to purchase and pay for an annual membership as a gift for someone, but with that sort of service, decided against it. We left at 6.50pm on Thu 12 Sep. Pros: water facilities are ok, the water jets are powerful, does the job in relaxing muscles. Cons: Chlorine stings eyes, rude staff, no sit down vanity area in the ladies change room. 1 working hair dryer to a ratio of 7 women in a standing area above the towel drop off bins and shower temperature not hot enough for hot water. Disappointing for a 5 star hotel spa, service and facilities wise.
