My partner and I went to the Outback this evening (15th March 2017) to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and we were not disappointed. Our waitress who I believe was the owners wife was amazing. Very attentive and professional. Food was outstanding and we didn't have to wait too long to receive anything. I seriously recommend the Outback Restaurant in Cardiff to everyone. My meal consisted of King Prawns for starters followed by New York Strip Steak, Chips and Mushrooms which was amazing and cooked to perfection. My partners meal was Aussie Chicken Wings for starters followed by Chicken Skewers, Kangaroo and Ostrich Steaks. All held together with an assortment of sauces and dips. We both had an amazing evening and thoroughly enjoyed the Meringue Desert with Pomegranate Seeds, Cream and Fresh Berries. A very nice surprise. Thank you to both of you for a very enjoyable evening. Visited outback last night after hearing about the place from friends. Food was good, I had the venison which was very well cooked. The Camembert starter looked amazing to be fair. Good selection of cocktails too which were 2 for 1. Service was a little slow on the night, leaving us no time for dessert, but it seems that the one member of staff was new, was still very polite and was happy to help. Owner has since contacted me personally to extend apologies - can't ask for more than that, top customer service. Will visit again in the near future.
Absolutely fantastic food. Will definitely go back again. I recommend the kangaroo steak done medium rare with garlic sauce

Very dissapointing. This was one of our favourite restaurants in Canton but after eating here tonight under "new management" it is unlikely we will eat here again. King prawns were tasteless and more like dwarf prawns!
