This Falkirk based operation cannot be recommended at all. Most of the staff are well mannered and polite and a few are excellent, however there are a number of longer term staff who can only be described as rude, unhelpful and patronising. Their lack of basic training especially around infection, prevention and control is alarming and even more so in current times. The change in personnel is all too frequent - they have a high rate of attrition. There is no regular evidenced testing of staff available to service users. The managerial team would seem to lack experience and have no provision for short staffing or emergency planning. I could write at length but I think anyone reading this will get the picture and I speak from a position of understanding and strength as a qualified ambulance paramedic and business owner. I have now had 15 months experience of them whilst recovering from a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments - which to date, I'm pleased to say have been successful.
