The kindest and most caring staff! Very professional and efficient in the work they do and are very helpful with any questions you may have. I had Dr David Teenan for my surgery and he done a great job! It has now been 3 months since my operation and I have fully healed, for anyone who has had the procedure, please don’t worry about the red patches in your eyes as they will go away eventually. Mine took over a month to go away. I would also advise on taking paracetamol and ibuprofen after surgery as it is extremely uncomfortable and quite painful when the anaesthetic wears off which I was not aware of. However this will only last a few hours. I now have 2 lines better than 20/20 vision and I’m extremely happy with the results. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a better life.

I have had wonderful experiences in Glasgow, but today I would like to review another store, Carlisle England. I planned a trip with some girlfriends in Carlisle, first since lockdown. Once I arrived in Carlisle I realised I hadn’t packed me contact lenses. I rang the Carlisle branch to see if they had any on my contact lense type in store. Unfortunately Shaun the manager advised me they didn’t have my prescription in stock. 20 minutes later he rang me to say he had contacted a few local opticians and he had sourced my prescription contact lense. Not only did he find them for me but he had them delivered to the Carlisle branch ready for collection one hour after my call. I had a wonderful afternoon with my friends glassses free. Such an unexpected favour. He went totally out of his way for a patient that technically wasn’t from his own store. He is fantastic, this is what you call customer service, from a brilliant company. I have referred many friends to the branch. Thank you Shaun.

The service offered at this surgery was definitely much better then expected and the end result was honestly incredible. I had roughly -4.50 in each eye, and i was a daily contact lenses wearer, each month I bought new lenses and had a new test due to the nature of my eyes. I decided to go for laser surgery, and admittedly it was extremely painful afterwards and I was stuck in bed for a while, unable to see properly. This was expected though since fixing my sight obviously couldn't be painless. After the recovery stage, i can now see above the 20/20 guarantee and my vision is perfect, and stable, this is a massive change from before (I couldn't even recognise faces close up). My only complaint would be, the surgery i attended said the procedure would take 3 hours, I however was finished in maybe 25 minutes. So waiting in the dark while my lift arrived 2 hours later was inconvenient, however I don't mind considering how it went afterwards. Financially it doesn't make sense to stay with contact lenses, your money is just being wasted. Even on finance I would strongly recommend this procedure to others.
