Great experience with the steam train. Total 1.5hour journey with some nice views. We can get off the train for a while to take some pictures during journey. Highly recommand!

A fantastic day out, really nice staff and the steam train was brilliant. A real experience, the sounds, sights and smells of the steam age. Very good value, and a great job being done by all the volunteers.

I appreciate this is a volunteer business but the shocking service I have received has left me no option but to write this. Made a considerable size booking for a large number of guest. I have called and been redirected to an email address which I have emailed at least 6 times since April. No one responds!!!! You have stolen a large amount of money from myself and guests and I would like it back! I was happy to re arrange before but I no longer want to support such a business that does not value the customers that keep them running. If anyone at this place actually reads these reviews can you respond? WARNING to everyone else! They take your money then you never hear anything again!

Helpful staff, reasonable prices and a lovely ride through the beautiful Welsh countryside. Line is being extended and improved according to a discussion with a member if staff. Will definitely visit again next time we holiday in South Wales.

We bought tickets for the steam train ride with 'elevenses' for an extra 3. Seats were comfortable, staff was very friendly. The elevenses consisted of either 2 Welsh cakes or toasted tea cakes and 2 cups of tea/coffee each. The train ride itself wasn't very exciting, the scenery isn't very attractive (lots of junk yards next to the track) but the stops offered some time to photgraph the train itself and other carriages (like the Royal Mail travelling post office). All in all a nice way to spend 1h45.

My 3 year old son loved it here. Very friendly staff. They all made us very welcome and talked to my son as well.
