Beautiful views, wonderful house

Booked this house for my mum's birthday and the place was amazing! Lovely views, 2x hot tubes, lots a games to play and kids (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Bedrooms and bathrooms all clean, tidy and presented well. Kitchen was large and thank goodness for the two dishwashers as there were 19 of us! We went in the Easter break and the gorgeous weather was the icing on the cake. The booking went through smoothly and luckily we did not need anything.

Bay view is a BIG BIG house with great views over Morecambe bay and surrounding countryside. But at up to 4200 a week it should be MUCH better. This could be the perfect holiday home, but unfortunately its been badly neglected and it shows! First impressions are so important, and the disappointment starts there. We arrived at the porch door greeted by old peeling paint, wood coming away and an outside door that doesn't even shut! Going through the inner door you are in the large kitchen/dining room. Sadly things aren't much better. It's tired, dated and shabby. There is a massive dining table in the middle which is impressive, but not a comfortable chair to sit on. There were 9 of us, but we struggled to find enough pots, pans and so on to prepare a meal. Fine if you just want takeaways or snacks, but if you like home cooking you will struggle. This house boast's it can accommodate 20! Good luck at meal times. Other important point to mention is that when we visited the hot water was DANGEROUSLY hot, glad we had no young kids with us. On the plus side, rest of the house is fine, bedrooms comfortable and lots of them. Shame is that by just investing a month or so's hire fees, things could easily be turned around.

Stunning house, well-equipped inside but surpasses itself with the fantastic 7-seater outdoor hot tub and glorious views of the bay, especially at sunset. Just spent five nights there and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
