Absolutely lovely me and the wife called here on the 4th November 2020 will go again next year when this virus is out of the way and have a proper look at the bar where the filming was done for brief encounter

Beautiful, immaculate, great sense of time and continuity because the main line runs next to and through it plus there's a current rail depot on site. Lovely shops, micro brewery on site. Car park at the door with disabled parking and entry. Right in town with all the amenities you could need. Great drives around the area such as up to Wharton crag, silver dale and arnside.
