My son who has special needs bought a mug along with some birthday cards. When we returned to the counter to pay the lady had wrapped the mug up. When we later unwrapped it, it was chipped. I wasn't given a receipt so phoned the shop to make them aware. I was offered a replacement. A week later I arrived at the shop at 4.01pm. The shop opening ours had changed and they closed at 4pm. I could see the owners in the shop but they would not open the door. Another week later I went back for the replacement and the man was rather rude. He said look while I check this mug in front of you. After he said the mug was fine I pointed out to him that there was a chip in that mug also!!! He got another one of the shelf and gave me that. No apology at all. Won't be going back. My son was upset by it all, I'm just pleased he wasn't with me when I went back.

Such a lovely little shop which has been serving the community for over 20 years!! So much to choose from, I always pop in when i'm in town. Highly recommend a visit.
A great shop to visit if you are looking for something special. Beautiful cards for all occasions that you don't see in the chains and supermarkets. I am always spoilt for choice in this shop and the gift wrap and card quality is absolutely stunning. I've never seen so many cards to choose from in one place. A great place to check out if you are struggling for gift ideas or want something a bit more outstanding. A gem of a shop and well worth a visit if you are in the area as new stock and ranges are always being added. I've found some great little quirky gift ideas for kids from 99p... bargain! The staff are very knowledgeable about their stock and happy to help. I have been shopping here for all my essential gifts and stationary since it was first established. We need more independent shops like this on our high streets. Support local businesses!
Amazing shop highly recommended! I have been visiting this store for over 25 years and the range of cards and gifts is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, always great service.
Went to the shop about 5 minutes before closing as my son was desperate to buy a little toy the same as he bought the previous day and wanted a set. We were just about to go in and the elderly male owner locked the door right in front of us. I said we would only be 1 minute, he shook his head and walked off, leaving my young son very upset which he could see. To be honest I'm now glad no more of our money will end it into his till.
