A beautiful place to visit,and with lots of wildlife to see. Deer obviously, but lots of birds too, so some binoculars can be a valuable addition to a visit. The photos I have added are from 2013, so things might look different now.

Another little gem of Galloway forest park. A short stop to see the deer. Although the hide was closed for covid there is still a clear view of the deer. Looks like they are wild but are used to being fed at this spot. Stopped by a few times and the number of deer varied each time.
One of the many Galloway Forest Park areas this one is quite small and is just a place to go and see some Red Deer.
Lovely thing to do and free, with wonderful scenery. Great place to visit.
Was great to get so close to the dear. Can take some great pictures and there were loads of babies when we were there. The hide was closed when we were there due to covid but can still get a great view. Great free activity.
