What exceptional service my wife and I received from Aaron and the team at Cecil and Larter during the recent purchase of our Seat. The attention to customer satisfaction pre and post sales was faultless, with customer covid safety well rehearsed and implemented and was at the forefront of the Cecil and Larter team. Every email sent pre-purchase and post-purchase was answered Swiftly. There was a slight discrepancy regarding my purchase, (possibly on my part) but this was swiftly dealt with by Cecil and Larter. Never judge a company by what you think is wrong - judge them by how they put it right. A disappointing first (and last) visit to Cecil & Larter SEAT sales team in Bury St Edmunds; 1 - The car we viewed did not match the picture on the website! 2 - The car we viewed was not registered with the DVLA in the correct colour! 3 - They described a damaged door seal as appropriate for a 2-year-old car with 12,000 miles and would not replace it as part of the purchase! This is not what I would expect from a main dealer.... As a result of the above, we cancelled the purchase and bought a more expensive car from Marshall SEAT in Cambridge the next day - a much better customer experience.

I received a great service from Aaron and Alex, right from my initial enquiry via the SEAT Approved Used website, to the collection of my new (used) car. I was a bit disappointed not to receive a better trade in price for my old car, and that there was no negotiation on the cost of my purchase. However, Alex showed me through the due diligence C&L had completed on both of these elements, and satisfied my enquiry. The car was well prepared for my collection, and I received everything I was promised. I hope the after sales service will be as good.
