The quality of the food and service at The Cellar Bistro was outstanding. The Lightly fried tender calamari, lemon & garlic mayonnaise was fantastic and our main dish of Parmesan & herb crusted Cornish hake, pea, mint & lemon puree, garlic & herb roasted potatoes was incredible. We finished off a delightful dinner with 3 Cornish cheeses and biscuits with port. Fingers crossed that The Cellar Bistro can reopen soon.

One of the best meals we've had in a while. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. I can see why this restaurant is so highly rated in the area. We had 3 courses which can be seen in the photos. The portion sizes were good and the price was reasonable for the food quality you were getting. If you want a really cheap night out then this is not for you, you definitely get what you pay for here. The restaurant is tucked away and can be difficult to find unless you knows its there. There is a nice ambience inside and I would definitely return if coming back to St Ives
They were able to fit us in for an early dinner despite we did not book. Very welcoming, friendly and quick service. My starter, gazpacho, had the right balance of flavours and was very refreshing. For my main, I had Parmesan & herb crusted Cornish hake - it was absolutely divine! Probably the best fish dish I have ever had! My partner had baked goat’s cheese with sweet spiced beetroot purée and roasted chicken supreme - both were really tasty. Great place, highly recommend it.
Amazing high quality food here! It’s expensive but so worth it for a special occasion, they have a nice selection of cocktails and the desserts are so good - try the sticky toffee pudding with cream! Staff were so friendly too!
Bea-utiful.......Had an amazing night at cellar bistro, food was the best and Tony’s sticky toffee pudding was out of this world, Louise is such a lovely lady making us feel welcome and coming over to have a chat more than once. Restaurant was clean social distancing in place.Toilets were nice clean and tidy and hand sanitiser available. Thanks again team keep up the brilliant work.
