First reaction is: Oooh, what's that thing? Well, it's a sculpture. We visited at low tide, so it wasn't doing alot, but it still makes and interesting focal point on the beach at Cemaes Bay. Worth seeing? Yes - if you're there. Worth going to see? Probably not. That said, Cemaes Bay is an attractive place in it's own right, so if you're in the vicinity and are thinking of visiting, then do so. As well as seeing St Patrick's bell, look out for the old lifeboat in the harbour, and try the short walk up the river to the brickworks. And to get more from your parking fee, take a walk along the coast around the other side of the bay from the village - that's pretty interesting too.
