The short story: I wouldn't recommend using this store as my phone was damaged by them during a screen replacement. As at the time of writing this review, at best I will have a 70 repair bill (in addition to the new screen cost) at worst, it could be scrap and I will have lost everything on it since it was last backed up. The full story: I dropped my phone whilst in London and smashed the screen. Although the phone was still working fully, the broken glass was cutting my thumbs so I decided to get it fixed immediately. A google search turned up this place which was nearby, plus it had positive Google reviews. My screen was replaced in about 20 minutes and it was inexpensive so initially I was happy. However, when I collected my phone it immediately started shutting down every minute or so, not loading apps, and the battery went from 60% full to almost flat in about 30 minutes. I returned as soon as I noticed the issue and man who replaced the screen told me it must be a software problem, which I didn't believe as a) it hadn't been crashing and shutting down before he took it apart, and b) the software hadn't changed. I insisted he investigate the problem, and he did reluctantly try another screen but the problem then persisted. He said it was definitely a software problem, and that I should update the IOS. Sadly I couldn't do this because the phone would no longer charge when plugged in, and kept crashing before the IOS update could run. Today I took the phone into another repair centre I have used before and they found a resistor close to the battery had been dislodged during the screen change, and that is the cause of the problem. If it can be fixed it will be another 70, if it can't be fixed the phone is scrap and I've lost the latest photos I've taken.
