Great place and some of the most knowledgeable tour guides I've ever come across. A vast selection of exhibits and a fascinating place. Lovely cafe too - cake is fab! Tour takes about an hour and covers the history of the building and external exhibits.

Brilliant way to spend a sunny hour or two, very knowledgeable staff, George (tour guide) is a mine of information, witty & full of anecdotes.....cafe is clean, well stocked with quick service. Happy faces all round. Pay a little extra for the full tour...otherwise I think your probably missing out.

Didn't visit on this occasion, as we had dogs with us. But it looks good and will visit next time I'm down
Really good place to visit. Very knowledgeable guide. Tour took about 1 hrs then visit museum. All staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Have visited the fort three times now, haven't done the tour yet but herd it's very interesting. Has a lovely cafe, and very nice cakes. The owner and staff are very friendly, looking forward to going again to do the tour of the fort
