My local branch of an independent wool and embroidery shop. The primary focus is the wool, but they also stock a good range of embroidery materials and general sewing tools and accessories. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and did a lot to help me get back into knitting after many years without picking up a pair of needles. They stock both the big name brands and small batch yarns from several small independent dyers. I was very sad when the branch moved a couple of years ago from within walking distance to a bus ride away, but my wallet has probably benefited. :-) Very much recommended.
