I was recommend to this fishery as a beginner to learn fishing, my first experience when booking our first day trip the bailiff had advice me and the hubby to fish on the island lake for the 'easier' and smaller fish to start with. I had mangaed to catch my first pb at 11lbs!! We then progressed onto spec 2 lake where we had our first 36hr and managed to get another pb of 24.4lbs !! Couldnt recommend this lake enough, the bailiff is very helpful and lovely he also has a little tackle shop that has been helpful and has munchies / cold drink aswell as a lady onsite that will do rounds of food delivered to your swim! The fish are all well kept aswell as surroundings. We stayed on the motorway side and the noise was not a issue for us. Ready for our next session chasing my next pb!

Fished it a few times but always too many kids over there which is off putting. The fishing is hard especially for the carp. I love a challenge but I won't be returning.
Only started fishing this lake this year (2020) and its by far the best lake I have a fished, get yourself on the mmeebers lake as there is an extremely good head of carp up to 40lbs, 14 know 30lb fish as well as 200 over 20lb so when you do hook into something it's likely not a pastie!
Plenty of room mid week. Well stocked with quality condition fish.
Excellent place spent weekend there very friendly very helpful will plan another trip there
