Having attended for my Covid 19 vaccine today I have to say what a smooth and well organised operation it was in and out in 15 mins including being guided to the car park.

Could not ask for a better service. Dr Robert Plate has supported me and called every week to help me manage the pain. First class help and service. The receptionists have always gone the extra mile to assist. Every step of the way through Covid the practice has done everything possible to help. Pharmacy has called and helped. I cannot thank them enough. Toughest times and they have worked under extreme pressure. Thank you.

No empathy from pharmacy or reception, you are not a patient just a customer / client. Waiting times at pharmacy a joke whilst they search racks and baskets, often item not in stock please come back. If a medical problem and doctor sends for a blood test firstly you get no feedback if test negative and no attempt to search further for cause unless you request another appointment and start again. You rarely get the same doctor if you can get an appointment. It seems in all areas the patient has to take the initiative.

I wish I could give 0 stars! Absolutely diabolical. I have been a patient for just 9 months and have had the misfortune of needing to attend on approximately 6 occasions. Each time I have been to Danbury Medical Centre, something goes wrong. From sending me to the wrong location for my appointment, telling me I had no appointment booked upon arrival (which then was magical found by another staff member), losing my blood samples not once but TWICE! Telling me I don't have a blood test booked in the first place when I did (They tried to send me to a hospital and only upon insisting I had a blood test booked did they finally \find\ it) and booking me in for a fifteen minute appointment when I required 1.5hour appointment, so I had to return. AGAIN. Today's appointment I asked receptionist if my partner could join for our midwife appointment due to eased restrictions in every other area, such as pubs, restaurants, shops... but was declined. However, the next patients, who happened to be that same receptionist's mother and father, were allowed in together, sat together in the reception, travelled in the lift together and attended an appointment together. The receptionist daughter also came out to the waiting area to speak with her mother and father patients in close proximity and touched her mother's arm, commenting on the skin integrity. Hardly socially distanced. Guess the rules don't apply if you are related to someone behind the counter! Totally unprofessional.

Absolutely appalling... Danbury Medical Centre has gone from dreadful to beyond the pale.....it is impossible to get a doctor's appointment under any circumstances....the 'Intelligent' ansafone service tells me I'm position 101 in the queue... but that the quickest and easiest way to make an appointment is by emailing the surgery...that was on Monday afternoon....no response..... emailed again on Tuesday.....no response...I physically go in 72 hours later after no reply but all the appointments had gone in the morning....the receptionist tells me I'll need to hold on and someone will answer....I've got to go to work and can't do this...!! The situation has now gone from horrifically bad to frightening...there is no help available except to drive yourself to A&E... very sad...this situation is a far cry from the wonderful caring service provided by Dr McAllister at Lee House...run down building maybe but the care provided was excellent. Who cares about the brand new state of the art building, intelligent telephone systems and chairs like cheese graters...no one does...all people want is a caring service and to know that they can speak to their family doctor in times of need.
