One of the very best restaurants I've been to. Food is absolutely to die for. I had hake on the most deliciously buttery mash and beautifully cooked vegetables. I even ate the broccoli which is not my favourite vegetable. The service was first class, attentive but not intrusive. And actually reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed.

This is one the worst places I have been to. We did not eat yet I am reviewing it. I booked this place to take my boys in the evening , this place was thoroughly cramped perhaps breaking all social distancing rules. The staff was very rude (perhaps) it was our appearance , he didn’t show any courtesy whatsoever. After 10 minutes he tried to cramp three of us in small 2x2 table. I requested him to change our table (available next to us ), he then said “He has booking of 5 and he would not do it” (without any courtesy again). Why would you then book us if you don’t have the table available. I could not just stand his indifferent behaviours toward is since beginning and had to leave. What a shame!

Best food I've had in years and the service and staff was excellent very polite and accommodating will definitely be going there again ,really enjoy every minute my family and I were there xx we even got take way for out friends x best restaurant in Chelmsford

Went there for the first time last night and was very impressed. The food was all cooked from fresh and everything arrived hot at the table. The portion size was very large and i was expecting small portions l. A lot larger portions that your usual italian restaurant! The staff was all friendly and service was very good. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 sides, 2 alcoholic drinks. All for less than 75. Very great value and the food was fantastic. Will be definately returning soon!
