We love the Wheatsheaf! the food is always fantastic, everyone there is so lovely and they do a sterling job of catering for allergies - my three little brothers are gluten intolerant, but they can usually eat off the regular menu (with some adjustments) and they've never been sick after a visit. So excited to go back when everything reopens!

Had an excellent steak and chips. Service good, lots of seating in side and out, very attractive with lots of flowers. Great for everything from coffee, drinks or full 3 course meal in informal surroundings. Check out the associated tearoom too. Super cakes.
Pretty good though one overworked young girl serving. Pleasant and said \be with you soon\ but my was a forever wait as she had 3/4 tables of eaters to wait on. No one else in sight on a Friday. Perhaps busy as The Swan up road was closed at that time and benefiting from extra customers
Great good and fantastic service. I felt very safe and it was a wonderful experience. Super staff.
Ok bit underwhelming and the decor needs renovating as it feels dark and skanky. Food on par with a wetherspoons. Needs general improvements.
