It’s already a couple of years we go to Kibou and we couldn’t wait to see the new place. It is simply amazing, they completely refurbished it is now divided into different areas, all of them with stunning decorations and furniture. The service has been great as always and the atmosphere really makes the meal special. We had a couple of starters and some sushi platters and I’ve also been really happy to see they added some new deserts to the menu. I’m glad they finally have enough space to accommodate everyone, well deserved, we’ll be back soon!

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had outside of Japan. The interior design is stunning! They really went all out on it. The cocktails are great, too, and when we went for my brother’s graduation the waitress gave us some complimentary sake. :)

We had a lovely family meal; a mix of curry and sushi and everyone really enjoyed what they had. Not used chopsticks for a few years, so that was fun. Service was friendly and quick, food was great - with gluten free options for a number of dishes. I didn't have a dessert but, according to the rest of the family, they were lovely. Good selection of drinks too. Really like the design of the place, nice attention to detail....oh and facilities were really clean. A great evening out. Thanks.

Incredible, authentic Japanese food in a beautiful new restaurant! Loved the old premises but as it was so small, reservations were hard to come by. Now they have a much bigger place, reservations are still hard to get... Says a lot, doesn't it? Beautiful place, very Instagram-friendly! And the food is amazing - super fresh fish (best sushi I've had in a long time, especially at this price!). Service was a little slow but this is expected with new staff and a new kitchen. Staff were very friendly. Everyone loved their food, social distancing practices are good (all staff wear visors, tables very well spaced out). Drinks are very pricey but there's a good selection of Japanese beers, whisky, sake etc. Food is moderately priced; unfortunately I can't eat here a lot, but if I could, I would. Expect to pay 20 for a main course and drink. If you're in Cheltenham, this is a must-visit!
