A fantastic place for those who want a quiet place to go and just chill out and a great base for which to see the area. The Sheppard's hut is outstanding and if the weather behaves for you there is a hot tub that you can use to unwind in. We would not hesitate to go back again as it is such a wonderful place.
Picturesque surroundings and very clean! Winchcombe only 10 minutes away and it's a lovely little town.
Spacious mown field with very gentle slope. Even with today's monsoon rains, the ground remained firm. Superb views across the rolling English hills from every corner of the field. Well stocked info shed with walking maps and tourist leaflets, plus menus for local dog-friendly pubs. My 25m hookup cable only just long enough to reach a corner pitch (my problem, not a fault of the site. Access via narrow road with passing places is fine as long as you follow the owner's suggestion to depart by midday and arrive after. No traffic noise; just the occasional car or tractor passing. We had the field to ourselves even though it was late July. No toilets - it's only a CL. Definitely one for the list if you like quiet sites with walks from your door and easy access to great Cotswold towns and villages.
