I liked your stuff about the new heating systems. We are currently looking at a whole house approach to our retrofit, so didn't really know where to start.I think we will do cavity fill with external wall insulation and silicone rendering. Then next year we want to install an air source heat pump with solar collectors and living room stove. Think that would be a good start. Makes sense anyway as you say that boilers will be out of fashion soon by the Government.

I've recently subscribed to your YouTube channel, but I've been an avid reader of the blogs for a number of years. Some good stuff on there. Are you guys connected to the Energy Saving Trust and the new Government Energy Portal? I couldn't see anything on the site about your funding model. I think you should do more stuff about the environmental impacts on plastics and pollution. You would get a lot more engagement.

I had James come round for an assessment so that I can have my exterior walls insulated. He came across as being very knowledgeable, professional and helpful too. He gave me genuine and impartial advice regarding the next stages too. I would highly recommend his services.

Hi Henry. We seem to be reaping the benefits of your work for us. You will recall that we installed LED spots in our main living/dining room, kitchen and office and some other eco bulbs around the house in February 2014. Our electric usage in kWh per day dropped by 23% in the second half of 2014 compared to second half 2013 despite having the living/dining room lights on more during the daytime as we are looking after our grandson regularly. So good progress and thanks.

We recently purchased some magnetic secondary glazing to go over four decorative single glazed windows our house. They were easy to order, a good price, arrived in the specified time, and were easy to fit as per the video tutorial. They are barely noticeable looks wise so don't detract from the windows, but they have made a significant difference in reducing traffic noise and cold spots. Unfortunately one of the windows was scratched in transit but this was rectified immediately with no fuss. Really impressed with the service.
