We came here before the second lockdown and was really impressed with the food and service. Food is freshly made and tastes fantastic. Staff are very attentive and make you feel at ease. Would highly recommend when visiting Chester. Everything was great and nice. Must try!

Managed to get a table here last night for 5 people. The set up is really informal which I really liked as it gave a very homely feel to the restaurant. The food was amazing, starters were a little expensive for the size of them but food overall was fantastic. Staff were really friendly too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Chester.
Visited this morning after having the worst breakfast at our Hotel the day before. Such a contrast. Got to be one of the best breakfasts that I've ever had. Great produce, clean and quirky surroundings and excellent service. The safety conditions implemented around COVID have been well thought through and executed. This will be my go to place whenever I'm in Chester. I would suggest booking beforehand as it gets busy. Would definitely recommend. A***
Food - Overpriced for what the quality was. Chicken burger was amazing as a main but the Prawns/Pork Pate/Ceaser Salad were overpriced. Plus prawns overcooked. Drinks- Reasonable menu but wouldn’t rate cocktails as limited for their pricing too. Atmosphere - Really good for a quiet date where you can chat without being interrupted. Nice tables. Would’ve been 4 stars but they literally rushed our starters within 20 minutes and then 5 minutes later mains were out. In and out in under 45 minutes which seemed really rushed. Food wasn’t up to scratch and not something I’d be gagging to go back to again but was fine to say the least.
Delicious breakfast! We had the Californian and it was sooo good! Great service and the food came pretty quick which is perfect considering tables are booked for an hour slot (given the current climate) would definitely recommend if looking for a nice breakfast somewhere independent ️
