Excellent venue. Food of restaurant quality. Beautiful restaurant with friendly and efficient staff. Top virus measures. Ordered using their app so no contact when served or paying as everything done online. Very easy to install and use . Currently still has 50% discount Monday to Thursday. Two for one cocktails . Has similar in beautiful Cheshire village of Frodsham : the Queens Head .

Just had afternoon tea with cocktails which is a great idea and reasonably priced. Vegetarian option available. Was able to takeaway the cakes we couldn't eat at the time. Covid safety guidelines being followed. Staff are very friendly. Prebooking is a must as it gets very busy. Only downside was that we surrounded by children and crying babies. Would be nice to have an adult only area.

Not great unfortunately. Had a cheese and chutney baguette which turned out to be 3 thin slices of cheese and a huge amount of chutney. The picture shows the amount that I scraped off so I stood a chance of tasting the cheese. I couldn't anyway - too much bread and not enough cheese. On the plus side, they are able to make fries. The waitress was friendly and it's quite a nice place. Good luck with the food.
