Excellent service so far! Tom the engineer that installed the charge point was thorough and did a very tidy job. No complaints.

I would not recommend this firm to anyone. I booked and payed for a EV charger at home in Dec 2020, now Feb 2021 still not fitted and now told March. I am currently cancelling the job and trying to get a full refund. They are a joke. Very poor service, but quick to take the money. Steer well clear. I can now say that after contacting them to cancel and get a refund the service was outstanding, they called me and the charging point was installed the next day and the engineer did a first class job.

Very poor after sales, no out of warranty support services in place.

Had to give my two cents worth here. Not sure why so many bad reviews in regards to ChargedEV installations. For me, from start to finish I had a great experience. Most complaints seem to be installation times which is subjective in my view. If you're prepared to wait its not a problem but if you want the charger installed the next day then you'll find fault in this. Yes, it did take a 4 months to install but some of this time was spent upgrading my electrical circuits. Most if not all UK homes are not geared up for 7kw chargers so there's added equipment needed to be installed by other companies. I also cannot understand why the basics of an installation would not be conveyed to a property owner. I was told, 100amp fuse, Isolator switch and proper earthing of other circuits, what's there to miss out. I'm not an electrician but think I could pass on this info. Also, if you haven't got internet access prepare to pay the full cost of installation as will not be classed as a smart charger and will not get the grant. That's it....nearer the install date I was called by Charged EV team to clarify if any outstanding issues and the job was done. Yes, some other companies maybe able to install quicker but the basics still need to be done, 100amp fuse etc...Electric vehicles are the next big thing in this world and as such demand is high for everything linked to this...Maybe ChargedEV are the victim of their success!!!

Honestly Pays

Installation of an external EV charger. The original installation required an independent earth connection, the installer mounted a conduit from the charge location, almost the full width of the house on the front elevation without any regard to the aesthetics, when there was absolutely no need to do so. The unit failed completely after 12 months and a replacement date could not be made for another seven weeks later. The appointment was cancelled half an hour before the engineer was due and another appointment made a further two weeks later. Appalling service, simply not interested in their customers, they have a take it or leave it attitude. I recommend you stay clear.
