villa mar riding school is amazing Sarah is so kind and encouraging and all the horses are gentle creatures you should defiantly go there I give it 90000000000000000 stars but I was only aloud to it 5 stars.

Villa Mar has been a great place to learn to ride. As an adult, I was nervous about trying something I hadn’t done since I was about seven but Sarah put me at ease straight away. I have learnt all of the basics as well as learning to jump too. I have been able to ride lots of different horses and so have been able to learn to adapt my skills. Sarah cares for everyone she teaches as well as all of her horses. They are never without anything they need. The vet is called immediately if any of the horses even just seem off colour. Lots of children get the opportunity to care for the horses too.

I have to say I am shocked and baffled by the last review. From my experience at Villa Mar Riding School, the comments could not be further from the truth. Sarah, Fred, Maureen and Dave are some of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My little nephew has weekly riding lessons with Sarah and she is fabulous with him and everyone else in his lesson. Due to Sarah's experience, skill, patience and making every lesson fun, his riding has improved so much in a relatively short space of time. You only have to visit this lovely family run yard to know it is most definitely not about the money but about the well being of the horses and all the other animals Sarah and crew work tirelessly to keep healthy and happy. We love spending time at Villa Mar, we are always made to feel so welcome and I cannot recommend it enough.

They come across nice staff as it is a family run business but they are money grabbing only interested in money After I have been riding here for a long time and only just realised as they pretty much said it themselves to me and teach the same thing every time you have a lesson, When having my lessons they have kids most no older than 12 cleaning the fields for hours on end but they have to pay as that’s there idea of “pony club”, Sarah the teaching instructure never helps the kids clean the fields.They have hundreds of horses that they dont look after properly.

Vila Mar is a great riding school and Sarah is a well qualified and excellent teacher. The horses are all well cared for and my experiences there have always been excellent. Interesting that a recent review has only given one star as she recently requested to go back. Sour grapes I presume!!
