What a venue! Sheesh has quite the facade, although I can’t say much is wrong with the place there is nothing that impressed me. The building is magnificent, the decor not so. Far too dark and seedy for a restaurant. It is not suitable for a lunch, it should just be an all and out night club. The staff were very helpful on my visit, but perhaps a little too pushy for the up sell. I don’t like their uniform, it is like a dentist’s outfit in black. The menu is very limited and highly inflated. I was hoping that the quality would balance the cost out, it really doesn’t. Being advertised as a bbq/grill the meat wasn’t cooked in this way. There was no char or flavour to the meat that would suggest a proper grill. The portions appear big but are actually not that much and the quality of the meat was very mediocre. Corners seemed to be cut too, it appears that no one takes the clients coats upon arrival and the bill was just a piece of paper with scribble on it, no effort put into the presentation. All these points do not justify the high price, a lot of fluff with no substance. There are many better restaurants that you can dine in for the same price.

Would say 3 out of 5 as the food is nice but definitely over priced. You are paying for going to “Sheesh” rather than the quality of the food. Word of warning dress smart and avoid designer items as you will be told you can only visit some parts of the restaurant. Magician came over to do some magic tricks which was nice but also overstayed his welcome which was a bit of a let down but in terms of the food it was nice. Would I be visiting again? Unless I was invited then probably not
If you are looking up this restaurant, you probably already know that it is overpriced, the food is very good, cocktails are great, the design is posh and you are here for the mingle. Despite I never minded the high price (as it is right on the menu and you know what you get), the whole lockdown delivery attitude pit this place in my black list. Let me explain: - Called on Tuesday and was told that any order below 100 comes with a 15 delivery cost. Any order above 100 is a free delivery. - Called today to place an order and was told that a minimum order is 100 (no minimum before) and I have to pay 20 for delivery regardless of the order size. The issue here is that as the policy is not consistent and clearly as you approach end of the week they try to squeeze more money out of you. This is a very disrespectful and insulting approach which is enough to mark Sheesh as a 2nd class diner. Better take your money to a proper high end restaurant.
I have ordered a takeaway from them a couple of times and every time i order the prices change, this is very unprofessional in my opinion. Food is overpriced and they try to squeeze every penny out of you through take away. First time i called they said its 15 for delivery, then they said i have to order 100 worth of food to get free delivery, then minimum 100 15 delivery . Last time I called they said it’s 20 delivery and they never had 15 for delivery where in fact i have proof of receipt i paid 15. The staff are rude on the phone , i was told to make up my mind as they need to hang up to serve other customers. Never again.
Start to finish 10/10 Ambience. Decor. Staff. Food. What else can i say. Pay for what you get. Private car park The truffle chips are a must try Also the lychee Martini
