Food was good; chips nice and warm, pies tasty and the fish fresh. The service, however, was frosty at best. The woman on the till seemed hard done by with every request and didn't bring a positive energy to the place. No thank you or bye on exit; shame really, let the place down !

Second time in a couple of months I've been, both times old stale overcooked chips and soggy fish batter.Gave them benefit of the doubt first time as staff were so nice. I must be unlucky as they seem to have plenty of good reviews. Will stick to the bridge chippy in norden from now on, a bit of a drive but always fresh chips and nice fish.
