our Carbon monoxide alarm was going off on Christmas Day!! So we phoned this chimney sweep the day after Boxing Day, we left a message and he phoned us back straight away. he came out to us the next day and did a full inspection to find the source of the leak, which was a faulty lock on the log burner which he fixed and also gave the chimney a sweep. We feel very satisfied with the Job and safe to light the fire again!! Thank you so so much especially at this busy time of year

Contacted Clean Chimneys after our gas fire was capped by British Gas for a blocked flue. (After only doing 1 smoke test) Julians advice was invaluable, rather than just coming out and taking our money he suggested that the test on the fire may not have been carried out correctly. He sent us information from buildings regs and even contacted a gas engineer to confirm his thoughts. I got BG back to carry out another test (using the correct procedure that Julian said should be used) and true enough it passed. So even though we didn’t pay for Julians services I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable chimney sweep you won’t go wrong contacting Clean Chimneys.
