Lauren is absolutely fantastic. Having my second child has been far more nerve wracking than my first. I was anxious and worried and not enjoying my pregnancy as much as I had wanted too. After completing the course with Lauren, I feel a thousand times more positive and now in a place where I am feeling calmer and more positive about the labour process. The support and advice I received from Lauren at Creative Calm was invaluable - I was on the brink of giving up breast feeding after struggling for 8 weeks, but after contacting Lauren and explaining our situation, she recommended I get our baby checked for tongue tie. She pointed us in the direction of various different services who could help, and our baby has now successfully had a tongue tie revision. In February 2020, I gave birth to my second child in the comfort of my own home. I felt calm, confident, and in complete control throughout the entire labour process. I trusted that my body knew exactly what to do and when/how to birth my baby and this was undoubtedly down to the knowledge and tools that had been provided to me throughout the course. Thanks to hypnobirthing I was able to keep calm and in control during a difficult labour. It wasn't the labour I had planned with a few complications along the way however thanks to hypnobirthing I felt confident to ask questions and make informed decisions calmly asking what my options where, had I not done hypnobirthing I would have panicked and just agreed to everything that was suggested to me instead I felt confident to take control of my birth. Lauren was great at guiding me through hypnobirthing with lots of factual information and took the time to check in with me including after my daughter was born. Thank you Lauren. I would highly recommend create calm hypnobirthing.
