I can't thank the coastguard volunteers enough for coming to the rescue this afternoon! I had only gone a little way out onto the beach at Cleethorpes with my dog Marnie, there were plenty of others around so I thought I was in a safe area but, I got stuck in mud. I couldn't believe how quickly it happened, or how close to the shore - but I have since been told it is a notorious patch that catches many people out. The tide was coming in but the coastguard team were fantastic and we are both safe and totally in awe of what they do. Thank you doesn't even begin to express my gratitude!
