Really enjoyed my visit there. Great place to keep the kids occupied. I certainly enjoyed the black water slide. Staff is helpful and generally the environment is clean and warm.

Just isn't what it used to be. I remember in the 90s coming here and thinking it was amazing. It actually hadn't changed much since the 90s and that's the problem. Much of the attractions aren't working. I returned this week with 3 kids 8, 6 and 2. They really enjoyed it so that's all that matters. But the place is filthy. Toilets were disgusting, the showers were appalling and locker doors and cubicle doors were broken and hanging off throughout.
Water park is fantastic for good swimmers as the wave machine is powerful. My son is not the strongest swimmer and found the waves overpowering in the swim lanes. Be aware if you are not a strong swimmer to make for the shallow area when the wave machine is switched on. That aside it has excellent flumes and water features, well worth a visit.
