This is a great location to run the kind of community art workshops we like to do in the area. It's a fab location, and excellently designed and appointed facility and the people involved were unfailingly helpful. It clearly serves a very wide constituency and age range, it's obviously a well functioning members club for sailing but has also totally got it as far as being a welcoming and 'non-clubby' place for staging all sorts of other activities. Brightlingsea is fortunate to have this amongst several other local amenities whether run by independent clubs, community associations or as part of local authority provision.
