Simon is a very professional and excellent painter and decorator. He painted my previous home and has now just finished painting my new home. Really pleased with the finished job. Excellent workmanship and really tidy. Simon is a good communicator. He let's you know exactly when he will be starting your job and also confirms the day before. I would definitely recommend Simon to anyone who is looking for an excellent high quality professional decorating job.

I’m quite picky about who I get in to do work in our home so often rely on impartial Google reviews to ‘hopefully’ help steer us in the right direction. Pleased with what I’d read, being local too, I asked Definitive Decorating for a quotation. Simon came on the weekend and followed up with a competitive quote by email. Unfortunately, by the time we got back to Simon he was booked up on some bigger jobs so we had to wait 2 months before he could book our job in. I didn’t mind that tbh, it show’s he’s busy (which is good) and we were in no rush. Sadly for Simon, he started on the hottest week of the year (in history), but none the less did a fantastic job of painting our hall, stairs, landing and downstairs WC. Simon completed the job on time, to highest quality and was professional throughout. Thank you Google Reviewers (again) and Simon for doing a great job. Would recommend Definitive Decorating without hesitation and will definitely use them again in the future.
I would like to massively highly recommended Simon of Definitive Decorating to anyone considering having any professional decorating done. I found Simon to be highly accommodating wright from the start agreeing to come out and quote on a Sunday afternoon, with his then highly prompt and very competitive pricing for the whole house repaint of my 4 bedroom townhouse . He started and commenced the big project within the fortnight and finished on time as scheduled. On inspection Simon had done a fantastic, excellent and superb exceptional job of bringing a trashed rental home back to fantastic sparkling life as if it was completely brand new all over again.The walls, doors, windows, woodwork we're all exceptionally painted beyond my expectations. Even more exceptional was Simon had completely cleaned and hoovered up everywhere which I was not expecting at all. Simon has done a fantastic, first rate, highly professional, beyond excellent super high quality superb decorating job for me and I cannot be more pleased and so happy with the final outcome result. Emailed Definitive Decorating today about a lot of work I would like doing at my house. The reply I received back was not professional at all, seemed as if they could not be bothered to write a thoughtful reply. Not what I was expecting. Will not be recommending. Edit: I receive an email today from Simon (November) threatening me to take off the 1 star review.
Fast visit to price the work which was hall and landing including undercoat & gloss to twelve doors & ten rolls of wallpaper. Quote received two hours later. Good price, arranged a date and he arrived 8am that day and every day until he had finished 10 days later. Quality very good and Simon is a very pleasant man. Highly recommended.
