Great experience shopping (click and collect) at Hughes Colchester today. Having been let down by a national, my wife called Hughes and spoke to Wendy, a lovely helpful lady who went out of her way to help. She made the buying experience a delight and within half an hour we had collected our new TV. Service can’t be faulted and we will certainly use them in the future.

I visited Hughes at Tollgate today to purchase a TV. I was served by Wendy who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She went through all the options and different specifications which helped me to decide which TV I wanted and I cant wait to have it delivered next week! My family also use Hughes at Tollgate and we wouldn't go anywhere else for electrical goods. Highly recommend. Thank you again Wendy. Was a pleasure being served by you. Tracey C
First time we have used Hughes. Was impressed from the first visit to the Tollgate store right through to and including delivery of the goods that we purchased. I thought the shop was well laid out and well run with regard to \covid\ precautions. Shop assistants were helpful and attentive without being over-burdening. Served by very helpful chap called \Harry\. Appliances were delivered on the day of our choosing by two very helpful lads on the hottest day of the year. They were polite, clean and careful delivering and installing the new the purchases and removing old appliances. Thought the prices were fair and competitive. All round very satisfied. Would definitely recommend and use again. Only improvement I would request is a slightly more comprehensive explanation about manufacturer's warranties and service plans verses those sold by Hughes. Hopefully our satisfaction in the purchase and delivery process will be rewarded by many years of use from the appliances themselves.
I today visited the Hughes store in Colchester to purchase a hoover. I was served by Harry and Wendy who both provided excellent custody service and advice. This was in direct contrast to the dreadful service I experienced next door in currys. Despite the fact that the appliance that I wanted was cheaper in currys, Harry immediately price matched it and provided a far superior customer service. Hughes will certainly be my first call next time.
Visited Hughes Tollgate 22nd September looking for new TV and we were served by Harry. His service was excellent and we were impressed by his knowledge of the products we were interested in ,his patience with us and he definitely helped in making the purchase of our new TV and sound bar as stress free as it could be. So very many thanks Harry and Hughes/would thoroughly recommend to be your first port of call if considering a new TV.
