One of best accommodations on campus, very social and always something to do!

I believe these towers have to be some of tallest buildings (if not THE tallest) in Colchester, one of Britain's oldest towns. Whilst the rooms and corridors aren't in brilliant shape, they are generally well maintained and secured by the University who have 24 hour security officers and utility staff. The University of Essex also offers free residence here to registered first-year and international students.

Very affordable accommodation, good for social people, not so good for the less outgoing. Fantastic location for students, max. 5 minute walk to anywhere on campus.

An amazing and cheap accommodation for university students. Sharing bathroom and kitchen may be difficult at first but, after you learn each others routine, it's a lot easier. It's a fantastic way to make a diverse group of friends. The housekeeper is thorough and appliances run well with some issues once a term.

The rooms are single, not shared. But students share bathrooms/toilets and kitchen among 14 or 16 students per floor. It is a very basic atmosphere to live but great to make friends.
