Recently booked a table with friends lovely venue but disappointed the restaurant was almost empty with only one other table occupied .The menu was varied with no complaints about the food quality or size portions although quite highly priced but delivered very slowly considering the emptiness of restaurant. It soon became apparent that there was only one waitress on duty and one person in the kitchen, leaving no contingency for unexpected arrivals . The waitress was welcoming on arrival but appeared inexperienced forgetting drink orders and not being very attentive as the other guests left at 9pm she started turning off lights and tidying up the restaurant as if they were about to close she had to be asked for the desserts menu but then announced only 50% of the menu was available . With nothing on the menu we liked we left after the main course . The whole experience was disappointing and very uncomfortable.
