Very happy with our visit Monday night! The food was lovely. Good choice and plenty of veggie /vegan choices. The building itself is lovely and the decor is really up to date. Service great, staff friendly. Dog friendly too! Couldn't fault it! We will definitely return.

Had a lovely lunch today at The Lion in Earl's Colne. The lunchtime menu gave a choice of stone baked pizza's or tapas which we took full advantage of by ordering from both. The pizza's were lovely (gluten free available) and the tapas was very good also. Staff were very respectful and prompt which made the visit so much more enjoyable. They had all the preparation on arrival for covid 19 i.e hand gel wash and checking temperatures. Will definitely visit again!
The quality of the food that comes out of The Lion's kitchen has never been in doubt. I went for lunch on a Saturday and had pizza and tapas, everything we had was excellent. Its a shame that it felt a little empty however; this was partly due to the social distancing measures that have been put in place. The rum spiced pudding is worth travelling for.
Always excellent food and brilliant service by the friendly staff. Stay safe guys. M&L
