Great car very. Accommodated us at short notice, changed tables so we could breastfeed comfortably. Superb food and eat as much as you like. Would definitely return here.
I have not been to the new times for some years, it is a shame as it was all very old and shabby, it looked like it had not changed since I used to drink in there with my friends in the late nineties, we had the carvery and it was very bland, not a lot of choice in vegetables and what there was seemed to be boiled far to long. The waiting staff was very friendly and good at there job, so waiting staff cook/food building .
Excellent food, excellent value for money, and may I say excelent and very helpful staff. excellent all round. Can't wait for the Sunday dinners to start again.
I've been coming here for 10 years now, with what started as family dinners but now happily come for Sunday roasts with my partner too. Over those 10 years the food has been consistently excellent. For the low price that you pay, you receive good quality food, good service and as big servings as you'd like. You can tell it's a local business and run with passion! They also do Christmas (etc.) meals, which include the quaint little touches. I recommend booking a day or more ahead for Sunday's as it can be very popular!
