We can produce protein using insects which are the most efficient body mass converters. They have been around for millions of years but are under utilized. They can create protein and while doing so produce a very efficient nutrient cycle utilizing nutrients for their feed source that would otherwise be lost in landfill or composting. With less land and water requirements and not being affected by weather conditions, insect protein it is the most natural and effective protein production system.
