Lovely restaurant with a warm atmosphere and great service. We had the charcuterie board to start and then an amazing steak and ale pie and a tasty pork chop. Definitely try the blueberry cheese cake for dessert! After the chef was done cooking, he stopped by each table to ask how your dinner was and if you were happy with everything. Lovely touch that we really liked! We will definitely come back next time we are in Dartmoor!

We had such a warm welcome to the restaurant we instantly felt at ease and knew we were going to have a lovely evening. To top it off the food is amazing; a very talented chef. It's so refreshing to go to a restaurant where all of the staff clearly care about you having a great meal and experience. 100% recommend.

Just had an amazing meal. Best steak on the rocks ever! The \snags\ were superb. Love the staff. Love the atmosphere. Pudfings were sublime and the sweet bag at the end made my son's day Can't wait to come back again!

A very lucky find that we stumbled upon - also lucky to be seated without a booking at 6pm on a Saturday - the restaurant was almost full by 7. Cook your own steak/duck/fish on a hot plate in front of you. Very good size and quality portion of ribeye. Can’t remember the last time I saw a dessert for just a little over a fiver - brilliant!

WOW! the food is to die for! The food quality and flavours you would expect to pay top dollar for but it is at reasonable prices. This is top quality food coupled with great service and a friendly warm welcoming atmosphere. We will be back very soon!!!
