If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would click that. I live in a managed block of apartments in Manchester, they can't seem to manage to produce a correct bill without us sending them photos of our meter each week. They've sent us a bill this month which is nearly double what we have actually used, getting in contact and providing proof, they just go quiet and out of the blue a "reissued" bill is produced, which is still incorrect. I would rather put money into British Gas (even after how BG have treated their employees) than Community Utilities!

They randomly sent me emails saying I owed them money despite me moving out of the flat they were referring to a year ago. My energy wasn't even provided by them, it was provided by Npower. I had literally never even heard of the company before until they sent me these emails. Never had an account set up with them so even if I wanted to pay them I couldn't. There were no instructions telling me how to pay in the emails. Never once recieved any correspondence from them let alone any bills or invoices but then they decided they wanted to charge me a late fee too? They still haven't provided me with an actual legal bill/invoice, it's literally just an email that says you owe us X amount. There is no phone number to ring them on, and their email address only seems to work half the time as emails I send to them often fail to be delivered. Honestly I would give them 0 stars if I could.

No phone number to call and ignoring my emails when I requested cancellation over a month in advance. Charged me for period of time when I was not living at the property and had officially moved out.

Super expensive compared to other options. 185 a month for a couple living relatively reserved and conscious of usage.

I disagree with the other post giving 5 to CS. Surely is bias and fake coming from someone that also lives in Cardiff... I am in London and use C.U. How can customer service be that good when there is no telephone number to call? None on their bills or website ?? Just an email that they try to respond in 48 hours...????? Give me the chance to wait for 20 minutes for a reply at least... I am still waiting for my reply sent 2 days ago. for me.

A really simple utility solution, always cheaper, no hassle and the customer service is spot on!
